Fracture treatment Jamshedpur and Jharkhand families can rely on, from routine fractures to complex high-energy trauma and neglected injuries: advanced surgical reconstruction, stable fixation and rapid functional recovery.

- Early rehabilitation protocols

The bone is only half the job
A good fracture result is a bone that has healed straight, a joint that moves, and a limb you can use. That takes the right timing, stable fixation, and rehabilitation that starts early rather than after the cast comes off.
Fractures we treat
- Hip and thigh bone
- Knee and tibial plateau
- Leg and ankle

- Forearm and wrist

- Neglected and old fractures
What to do, and when to worry
Most fractures can be assessed quickly with an X-ray. These are the situations we see most often.

Complex fracture surgery Jamshedpur
From a simple plate to a staged reconstruction, the operation is planned on your X-rays and CT scan, with the aim of a stable bone that lets you move early.
Complex fracture surgery
Rebuilds broken, multi-fragment bones and joint surfaces so they heal in the right position.
Trauma reconstruction
Planned, staged repair after high-energy injuries such as road accidents and falls from height.
Peri-articular fractures
Fractures around the knee, ankle, shoulder and elbow, where restoring a smooth joint surface matters most.
Non-union and malunion correction
Redoes fractures that have not healed or have healed crooked, with re-fixation and bone grafting where needed.
Minimally invasive fixation
Plates and nails placed through small incisions to protect the soft tissues around the bone.
Early rehabilitation
Movement and weight-bearing started as soon as the fixation is safe, so stiffness does not set in.
From injury to full use
Stabilise
Pain control, splinting, and the right X-ray or CT scan.
Plan
Cast or surgery decided, with timing set by swelling and skin.
Fix
Stable fixation with plates, screws or nails.

Common questions
Fracture surgery Jamshedpur: when is an operation needed?
Surgery is advised when the bone is displaced, unstable, broken into several pieces, or involves a joint surface, and when a cast cannot hold it in the right position. Many simple, stable fractures heal well in a cast or splint.
How long does a fracture take to heal?
Most fractures need several weeks to a few months. Healing time depends on the bone, the type of break, your age, and factors such as smoking and diabetes. X-rays at follow-up visits show how well the bone is knitting.
Will the plate or rod need to be removed?
Not always. Most implants can stay in for life. Removal is considered if an implant causes pain, irritation or infection, or in some young patients. This is decided case by case.
What is a non-union or malunion?
A non-union is a fracture that has not healed after many months. A malunion is a fracture that has healed in a crooked position. Both can usually be corrected with a fresh operation, sometimes with bone grafting.
Can an old or neglected fracture still be treated?
Often, yes. Even fractures that were missed or treated elsewhere can be reconstructed. Bring your earlier X-rays and reports so the best plan can be made.
